Most
furnishings sold today use polyurethane foam. Sofas, cushions,
bolsters, stuffed chairs and other house hold and office
furniture are stuffed with some form of foam. Depending
upon the density, polyurethane foam can do a pretty good
job of providing long lasting comfort. Foam provides good,
long lasting support and retains its shape and firmness
over the years and hence is the first choice for most
furniture manufacturers
